MISSED BIN COLLECTION - WHAT TO DO?

Below are some options residents can take if they have missed collections or any other issues with their bin collections:

Missed a collection?

It's best if residents wait until 3pm on collection day, as crews might still be on their way. If it's definitely been missed, the fastest fix is to report it online here so the depot gets the alert immediately.

Assisted collection issues?

We don't want our vulnerable residents to worry. If an assisted collection is missed, please tell them to call us on Customer Services or 01444 477440 straight away so we can fix it personally.

Unsure about dates?
The new 1-2-3 schedule can be confusing at first. Residents can check their specific dates and download a calendar by entering their postcode here. People can also ring Customer Services and they will print out the schedule and send it to residents.

Worried about bin space?
If a resident has a large family (6+) or medical waste needs and is struggling with the new frequency, please encourage them to email wastematters@midsussex.gov.uk so we can discuss extra capacity.
